"Naar aanleiding van het advies van mijn sport-fysiotherapeut kwam ik bij Helen terecht. In eerste instantie kwam ik om steeds terugkerende sport-blessures te voorkomen, maar al snel verloor ik ook als positieve bijvangst veel gewicht zonder een dieet te volgen. De lessen van Helen zijn afwisselend: er is aandacht voor zowel krachtraining, conditie als pilates en het programma wordt steeds op mij persoonlijk afgesteld. Door deze persoonlijke benadering vind ik het zelfs leuk om te sporten, nog even los van de prettige persoonlijkheid die Helen is. Ze heeft verstand van zaken, niet alleen van goede training, maar ook van gezonde voeding en eetpatronen. Ze weet de trainingen pittig en uitdagend te maken, zonder als een keiharde bootcamp-instructeur te schreeuwen. Ze kan je op een prettige manier motiveren en stimuleren om steeds meer uit jezelf te halen. Daarnaast is ze een heel prettige en gezellige vrouw, waardoor het uur sporten binnen no-time voorbij is. Kortom: ik kan Helen van harte aanbevelen. Sinds ik bij haar train ben ik gewicht verloren, heb ik een goede conditie, voel ik me gezond, heb ik een stevige ‘core’ en is mijn figuur sterk verbeterd. En dat zonder dieet. En is gebleken dat trainen leuk kan zijn. "

"Ik heb ruim 5 jaar een uur per week Personal Training van Helen gehad. Altijd op een vast tijdstip op donderdag. Zij had een heel gevarieerd programma gericht op versoepeling van alle spieren, maar zonder het overdreven zwaar te maken. Waar nodig corrigeerde zij mijn houding en zorgde ervoor dat de oefeningen op de correcte manier werden uitgevoerd. Dat laatste was belangrijk omdat ik ‘huiswerk’ meekreeg om ook thuis te oefenen. Tijdens de les namen we het nieuws van de week door en hadden hele leuke inspirerende discussies, met de nodige humor.

Wat ik zeer gewaardeerd heb is dat - toen ik na hartfalen enige tijd uit de roulatie was - Helen dit buitengewoon soepel heeft opgevangen. Zij heeft daarna het trainingsprogramma enigszins aangepast.

Ik ging altijd met veel plezier naar de les, en hoop thuis met de door Helen gegeven reeks oefeningen mijn conditie op peil te houden. Helen, dank nog voor alles."

"The three years I spent under Helen's watchful eye have done wonders for both my body and mind. I gained strength, toned up, my stamina improved and everyday chores and stresses became easier to deal with. Because of my bad back I'm not the easiest of persons to train, but Helen devised a tailor-made programme from a mix of Pilates, cardio, fitness and other types of exercises. She always listened to what I had to say and changed the programme accordingly. It was hard work, but her good cheer and an incredibly positive attitude made the sessions fun and time flew by. Add to that her curiosity and an unstoppable urge to always keep learning more about what she does and you get a coach you can only dream of. All to yourself, too! Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. I no longer live in The Netherlands and finding someone even remotely as good has proven to be very difficult indeed. "
